Set my iPhone 4 to wake me up at 2:55 AM, this morning, 9/20/2013.
3:00 am
Around 3AM, the Apple Store (via the iOS mobile app) opened up.
3:02 am
Completed checkout at 3:02AM (1-3 day shipping) on a silver, 64GB iPhone 5s. Would have been faster, but even though I had enabled express checkout, it forced me to enter my card’s security code again. Oh well. Let’s see if I actually get the phone in 1-3 business days!
3:05 am
Checked inventory again on the silver and gold 64 GB edition. Still stated 1-3 business days to ship.
3:10 am
Checked inventory on the 64 GB gold edition. Stated 7-10 business days to ship. Went back to sleep.

The order status has changed from Processing, to Preparing for Shipment. Who knows… might actually get the phone this week! Surprised. Why? Look on this blog at my experience when getting my current phone, in the post: iPhone 4 the Upgrade Experience.

Phone is supposedly on the truck, out for delivery! According to UPS tracking, the phone has travelled the world, even stopping in Alaska! I’m jealous. I will post the complete path the phone travelled to get here later.
